It is a great honor and privilege for me to welcome you to the official platform of the Association of Physicians of India (API), an organization that represents one of the largest and most respected communities of physicians in the country.

Founded in 1944, API held its first conference in the same year, marking the beginning of a remarkable academic journey. Over the decades, the Association has grown steadily in strength and stature, and 81 annual conferences have been successfully conducted, each contributing significantly to the advancement of medical science and professional collaboration among physicians.

API has consistently worked towards enhancing professional knowledge, clinical skills, and research among physicians across India. Through academic programs, conferences, and collaborative initiatives, the Association continues to support physicians in delivering high-quality patient care and strengthening healthcare services nationwide. The Indian College of Physicians (ICP) and the Physicians Research Foundation (PRF) function as the two independent academic wings of API, playing a vital role in promoting research, academic excellence, and continuing medical education.

This website serves as an important platform to share updates on our academic activities, professional initiatives, and member services. I warmly invite members, young physicians, and students to actively participate in the association's programs and contribute ideas that will help take API to even greater heights.
